Since its start in 1988, Rotary's Doctors Sweden has been working to improve healthcare for families who would otherwise be without it.
"Sick people create nothing - healthy people can," said our founder Lars Braw about why Rotary Doctors' activities are so important.
Local people in villages within our area of operation in Western Kenya should have the opportunity to develop their knowledge of health care and to implement new activities to improve their health. They also have the right to receive good quality healthcare.
Rotary Doctors works to fulfill this through various collaborations with the local population and the health authorities in our areas of operation.
Rotary Doctors is part of Rotary Sweden's operations but is run as a separate foundation.
Rotary Doctors has its office in Småland's Holsbybrunn, Vetlanda municipality.
Rotary Doctor's operations must be characterized by openness and integrity and controlled by the Swedish Fundraising Control.
